The Well

The Women of Grace is pleased to announce on Thursday, September 30th, we will be hosting our annual community-wide service, “The Well,” with women’s event speaker, Bible teacher, and author, Micah Maddox as the guest speaker.

The event will be held at Loveland Baptist Church, located at 1320 Spring Hill Road, in Knoxville, Tennessee. The doors will open at 6:00pm, and the event begins at 7:00pm. Tickets are $20 per person or Buddy Tickets (2 tickets) are $30 per set. Ladies ages 16 years to 20 years of age can register for a free ticket. Event shirts are $15 each.

Micah Maddox

Micah is a women’s event speaker, Bible teacher, and author of Anchored In: Experience a Power-Full Life in a Problem-Filled World. She is passionate about helping women find purpose, peace, and calm in our chaotic world. Micah is on the Proverbs31 Ministries First5 Writing Team. As a pastor’s wife, mother of four and foster mom, she contributes her time to her family and local church serving as a women’s ministry leader. Micah loves to give a voice to hurting hearts and writes and speaks to the one who needs encouragement. Micah, along with her husband Rob and their family, attend Clear Springs Baptist Church in Corryton, where he serves as the Worship Pastor.

Event Details

Where do I Park? Loveland Baptist is located at 1320 Springhill Road. There are several different parking lots, please watch for volunteers to help you park. Golf carts will help transport you to and from the lots.

Where do I go first? The gym. Everything starts in the gym. Volunteers will assist you in finding it. In the gym you will find ticket sales, Will Call, vendors market, event t-shirt sales, refreshments, and our super great goody bags. The doors will open at 5:45pm.

Can I purchase tickets at the door? Yes. Ticket sales and Will Call will begin at 5:45pm. A table will be set up inside the gym. Tickets at the door are $25 each and NO free young ladies’ tickets will be distributed.

What is the order of events? The doors to the gym will open at 5:45pm. Girls can shop in the market, enjoy refreshments, visit vendors, mingle with friends, and make selfie photos at the photo booth. At 6:45pm the doors to the worship center will open and the service will begin at 7:00pm.

What, did I hear refreshments? Yes, light snacks of fruit, cheeses, vegetables, and drinks will be provided in the gym from 5:45pm – 7:00pm.

Shopping, as in shop-ping? Yes, we will have event t-shirts and Women of Grace shirts for sale. In addition, we have a HUGE market of vendors to shop at (Great time to start your Christmas shopping); and Micah Maddox will have stuff for sale. If you are running late and don’t have time to shop before the service, no worries. The market will be open after the service too.

I am deaf, where should I sit? Seats will be reserved in the front of the worship center, on the right side, facing stage, for those needing sign-language interpretation during the service. And, yes…your friends can set with you!

Where can I pick up my pre-ordered shirts? Shirts may be picked up at the Women of Grace merchandise table in the gym. Volunteers will help you find the table.

Should I bring a note pad and pen? No, make sure you pick up your bag of goodies in the gym. In the bag, you will find a pen and event book for taking notes.

Do I need a ticket for the door prize giveaway? No, this year you will put your name on a card and drop it in the basket! The young ladies handing out your event goodie bag will direct you to the area to register! Before the service begins, we have a crazy amount of door prizes to giveaway! (Every girl loves door prizes!)

What should I wear? Whatever makes you comfortable, no swimsuits allowed. And, feel free to wear a face mask if you wish.

Childcare? NO childcare will be provided.

What should I bring? Your Bible, shopping money, a friend, and a prayed-up heart.

What about Covid? Know that we will take every effort to provide you a safe environment to shop, enjoy a snack, visit with friends, and worship. The core team will monitor the cases in our community and make the best decisions possible concerning the event.

Anything else? Please pray before you come. Pray for Micah, pray for the worship team, the event core team, and pray for each other. Most importantly, pray for the lost. During this event, the gospel will be shared, pray that a lost person will come to know a Living Savior.
